Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AI-focused engineer to lead GenAI capabilities for ASIC engineering workflows. You will design and scale AI-powered systems, develop LLM-based pipelines, and productionize ML models for analytics and decision support.

The role requires collaboration across System Architecture, Design, Data Science and IT, with emphasis on reliability, traceability, and enterprise integration. US-based, full-time role with strong compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 4+ years or Master’s with 2+ in Electrical Engineering, CS, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience developing and deploying AI applications in engineering domains.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, or similar.
• Experience building AI/ML systems with LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• GenAI system development for ASIC semiconductor engineering workflows.
• LLM workflow engineering including prompts, RAG, and evaluation.
• ML/DL model productionization for classification and anomaly detection.
• Cross-functional collaboration to translate problems into AI solutions.
• Deployment, monitoring, and operationalization of AI/ML in cloud/enterprise.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify high-impact opportunities to improve productivity and outcomes.
