Highmark Health in the United States offers the Summer 2027 Applied Gen AI/Data Scientist Graduate Internship, a program designed for highly motivated graduate students to work at the forefront of Generative AI in healthcare.

The internship provides hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, AI Agents, and emerging AI technologies to solve real-world healthcare challenges and improve member, clinician, and stakeholder experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree (full or part-time) in an accredited college or university.

Responsabilités

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders on project goals.
• Work under supervision to deliver professional AI research activities.
• Participate in projects to develop professional skills relevant to AI.
• Assist in planning and implementing unit projects within expertise.
• Conduct research and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Engage in enrichment programs and related studies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
