Job summary

Bank of America in Addison, Texas seeks a software engineer to design and deliver complex requirements, ensuring software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance needs, with maintainable architectures and testability built in from the start.

You will build and maintain ETL pipelines, write Python code for data processing, run SQL queries, validate data, and collaborate on integrating AI/GenAI solutions into workflows while staying current with new technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of job-related experience.
• Experience in AI-driven applications (Agentforce, Copilot Studio).
• Experience in Python, SQL, NLP AI/ML (machine learning pipelines and model evaluation techniques), GenAI (LLMs, building RAGs)

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on CI-CD practices and automating tool stack.
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Write efficient and scalable Python code for data processing and automation.
• Perform complex SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
• Implement rigorous data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/GenAI solutions into workflows.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and proactively learn and apply innovative solutions.
