Responsibilities
Bridge Stakeholders & Teams: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, data science, architecture, and compliance teams to translate business objectives into GenAI use cases and measurable outcomes.
P&C Insurance Focus: Leverage strong understanding of property & casualty (P&C) insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, risk, and finance, to identify and address industry-specific pain points.
AI Tools & Impact: Utilize advanced knowledge of GenAI and AI tools to optimize insurance processes, such as document intelligence, triage, fraud detection, pricing, and claims management.
Requirements Gathering: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for GenAI initiatives.
Business Case Development: Define problem statements, develop hypotheses and success criteria, and build business cases with cost/benefit analysis, feasibility, and risk assessments.
Prioritization & Collaboration: Facilitate prioritization of GenAI projects with product owners and stakeholders, balancing business impact, complexity, compliance, and risk.
Agile Project Delivery: Support Agile delivery by managing backlogs, user stories, sprint planning, testing (UAT, A/B, integration), release readiness, and hyper-care activities.
AI Governance & Compliance: Document model use, limitations, guardrails, and controls; support privacy and security reviews, track incidents, and maintain audit documentation.
Change Management & Training: Develop and deliver adoption plans, training materials, demos, and user education for underwriting and claims teams; capture feedback for iterative improvement.
Process Optimization: Embed GenAI outputs into business decision workflows and performance management, defining new operating procedures and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
Proficiency with Tools: Demonstrate strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with business analysis and data visualization tools preferred.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate across departments to drive process optimization and support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
3+ years’ Business Analyst experience (P&C insurance strongly preferred)
Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, and technology projects
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficient with business/process mapping, Agile, and Microsoft tools
Must be USC or Green Card holder, able to work EST hours, and willing to convert to FT within 6–12 months
