Job summary

DATAECONOMY Inc. is hiring a hands-on GenAI/Agentic AI engineer in Boston to design and deploy production-grade AI applications. You will work with Databricks and AWS services, building scalable pipelines and reusable code while guiding teammates on best practices.

The role requires 5+ years total experience, 2+ years in GenAI on cloud platforms, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent. Certifications in AWS or Databricks are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years total experience with 2+ years in GenAI/Agentic AI engineering on cloud platforms.
• AWS and/or Databricks certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal directions and guide the team.
• Research, learn, and apply new tools and techniques quickly.
• Recognize current infra and propose performance improvements.
• Design and build production-grade GenAI and Agentic AI apps.
• Develop reusable, efficient programs and cost-effective strategies.
• Develop AI pipelines, integrate with Databricks data and AWS services (S3, EC2, API Gateway, Bedrock, Lambda).
• Be comfortable working under tight timelines.
