Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Product Manager II for Generative AI to guide products from concept to launch, bridging technical and business teams across a range of GCP Generative AI initiatives.

You will work with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to evolve AI-driven experiences, lead roadmap development, and align with strategic objectives. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.
• Master’s degree in a technology or business related field (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership (preferred).
• 2 years of experience in software development or engineering (preferred).
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in technical leadership (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work with partner teams to implement PRDs into OKRs for one or more teams.
• Define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy.
• Develop and secure buy-in for a product goal and overall narrative.
• Validate the market size and opportunity.
• Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
