Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an AI Engineer to advance enterprise data pipelines, ML/AI initiatives, and governance within the Transformation Office. You will engineer production-grade data assets, build feature stores, and support gen AI workloads across Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.

As a day-one builder, you’ll design scalable data workflows using Airflow and Data Factory, ensure data quality, and enable collaboration across Data Science and MLOps teams. Remote role nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Six years of hands-on data engineering experience in multi-cloud environments or equivalent.
• Expert-level Snowflake architecture, data sharing, and performance tuning.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda) and Azure (Data Factory, Synapse).
• mastery of Python, SQL, and PySpark; Docker experience.
• Experience interfacing with on-premises/legacy data for cloud consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from on-prem systems to Snowflake and cloud services.
• Develop feature stores and analytics-ready datasets for ML workflows.
• Create data pipelines for generative AI use cases across AWS and Azure environments.
• Architect data models with Snowflake and orchestrate data workflows using Airflow, AWS Step Functions, and Azure Data Factory.
• Collaborate with IT, DBAs, and security teams to ensure secure data integrations and governance.
