Scale AI in Washington, DC, seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead GenAI data workflows and ML Ops for a critical national security customer. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, and public sector teams to deliver reliable AI solutions.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, 3+ years in stakeholder-facing roles, and willingness to be onsite in Northern Virginia 3+ days per week with travel up to 25%. Base salary range is $199,200 – $249,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph (FSP).
• 3+ years of stakeholder management or customer-facing experience.
• Basic understanding of ML operations, including data labeling, training, and evaluation.
• Familiarity with the U.S. intelligence community and national security apparatus.
• Track record of analytics-driven problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High cross-functional influence and EQ.
• Willingness to be onsite with a customer in the Northern Virginia vicinity 3+ days/week and travel 25%+.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships from executive to end user.
• Work with national security and intelligence community customers on GenAI data workflows.
• Lead or support cross-functional project teams to meet AI/ML objectives.
• Proactively identify customer needs and pain points to drive success.
• Learn technical concepts deeply to create new solutions or improve existing ones.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and public sector teams to deliver AI systems for government use cases.
