Job summary

Great HealthWorks, Inc. is seeking a Gelatin Operator to support cGMP-compliant manufacturing of dietary supplements. You will prepare, blend and mix gelatin, operate gel melting equipment, and complete batch paperwork according to SOPs.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, weighing gelatin and dyes, performing batch changes, obtaining QA clearance, maintaining equipment, and keeping meticulous documentation. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Able to read and follow SOPs.
• Able to work in GMP-compliant environment.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Able to weigh materials accurately.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follows all SOPs relating to processes.
• Immediately reports discrepancies to supervisor before continuing.
• Completes batch paperwork for gelatin processes.
• Measures and weighs gelatin and dyes.
• Processes gelatin master batches and color conversion per batch records.
• Performs equipment changeovers and documents appropriately.
• Obtains QA clearance for equipment and rooms before processing.
• Operates production equipment per SOPs.
• Washes, inspects, and sanitizes gelatin receivers and equipment.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows safety practices.
• Notifies supervision of any deviations from batch records or SOPs.
• Cross-trains in other production tasks as needed.
• Over time may assist in other departments as required.
