Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Gel Prep Operator in St. Petersburg, FL to prepare, blend, and mix batches of material on a 2/2/3 shift schedule (7:00pm–7:00am). You will follow SOPs, record batch data, and maintain GMP compliance to support fast-paced pharmaceutical production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with occasional heavy lifting. Onsite position with growth opportunities within Catalent's manufacturing network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills including Windows navigation and data entry.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Physical requirements: sit rarely, stand/walk regularly, lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull approx. 1,100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Measure and weigh gelatin and dyes using scales; complete batch documentation.
• Process gelatin master batches and color conversion; operate production equipment.
• Wash, inspect, and sanitize gelatin receivers and equipment.
• Follow safety policies; handle non-hazardous, hazardous, and DEA waste.
• Notify supervision of deviations from batch records or SOPs.
• Perform tasks in other areas as assigned based on shift staffing.
• All other duties as assigned.
