WHITEMOUNTAINAPACHEBEHAVIORALHEALTHSERVICES,INC. seeks a GED Program Coordinator to lead the Living With Purpose GED program for ABHS clients. The role covers tutoring, teaching, placement testing, and arranging GED tests to help enrollees complete all four GED exams.

The incumbent will develop individual instructional plans based on placement results, coordinate transportation, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to ABHS, tribal, and AHCCCS policies while serving as a positive role model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education-related field is required.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate (adult education) preferred; substitute certificate acceptable as minimum.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; Apache language knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work with a range of adults and supervisors.
• Valid AZ driver's license and reliable transportation.
• MS Office proficiency and ability to operate a copier; proficient in online learning environments.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment testing including fingerprint clearance and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manages a group of ABHS GED program enrollees.
• Facilitates GED placement tests and transportation logistics for enrollees.
• Develops individualized instructional programs based on placement results and access to materials/computers.
• Provides daily tutoring and instructional support and monitors progress.
• Communicates with supervisor on enrollee progress.
• Evaluates readiness after instruction for GED exam readiness.
• Arranges GED test logistics, including transportation.
• Maintains compliance with ABHS, tribal, and regulatory policies.
