Location: PrimarilyKCKCC Community Education, Health and Wellness Center- Downtown (KCK CEHWC), but any other college location as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
The Adult Education Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to adult learners seeking to earn a GED credential and/or transition into postsecondary education or career pathways. This position delivers GED instruction in core academic areas, including basic literacy and math through high school equivalency, writing, science, and social studies, while also facilitating the AOK program, which integrates adult education, workforce preparation, and career pathway navigation. The instructor plays a critical role in student persistence, skill attainment, and successful transitions to employment or further education. They will ensure compliance with all aspects of adult education as required by the Adult and Family Literacy Act (AEFLA), the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR), and Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC). Instruction will include adult students, 16 years of age and older, at all academic levels.

Full-time 40 hours per week. Must be able to work a variable schedule/hour to meet operational needs. May require evening and weekend hours.
