Contract Position- GED Contract Substitute
Location: Kashmere McCrane Library and Kashmere Multiservice Center
Compensation: $25/hr.
The position of GED Contract Substitute at Wesley Community Center is a contract position with a fluctuating schedule that will be held onsite at Kashmere McCrane Library and Kashmere Multiservice Center. Instructors are needed on a per-cohort/substitute basis that last between a 6-8 week span of time, 2-4 times a year. Dates of cohort cycles are to be determined and bound in agreement through contract by Instructor’s availability and coordinated with the Director of Financial Stability Programs. The GED Contract Substitute is primarily responsible for the instruction of adult learners, to be provided by GED Instructor, and maintaining student progress records. The lessons are designed to improve the basic reading/language arts, math, science, and social studies skills of adult learners. All course material will be provided by GED Instructor for GED Contract Substitute to implement.
