Job summary

CB Mining, a family-owned independent mining support company based in Washington, PA, is looking for a Level I Gearbox Technician to join its growing team. You will disassemble and reassemble geared products, set up, test, and configure equipment used in longwall mining operations.

You will maintain rebuild documentation to MSHA guidelines, keep areas clean, and assist with painting and shipping prep. You will also operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and Bobcats as needed and

Qualifications

• Experience with dismantling and rebuilding geared equipment for industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and schematics.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and electro-hydraulics.
• Capable of basic trouble shooting (hydraulic, sensors, mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble geared products per MSHA and company guidelines.
• Maintain rebuild documentation and records for compliance.
• Keep work areas, equipment and materials clean and organized.
• Assemble mechanical components of gear-driven equipment for mining applications.
