Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum AA degree or higher or ability to meet performance standards in reading, math, and writing.
• Previous experience working with high school-aged students preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of assigned topics, including Math and English.
• First aid/CPR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Daily tutoring to assigned classrooms, providing large group or individual tutoring.
• Support classroom teachers by exploring topics in depth with students.
• Provide daily support to the GU CCC Office, including after-school tutoring.
• Monitor student progress and course completion.
• Assist with student discipline in small groups.
