Job summary

Multnomah Education Service District is seeking a Sr. Program Administrator for the GEAR UP Educate-U program in Portland, OR. This role leads program vision, coordinates partners, and ensures grant compliance and sustainability beyond the federal grant period.

You will supervise licensed and support staff, manage budgets, and drive external funding to sustain program practices, with a focus on equity and educational impact.

• Demonstrated success in program evaluation, resource development, strategic planning, program implementation, and grant writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the program vision and strategic direction with MESD and partners.
• Oversee design, implementation, and evaluation of each program component.
• Ensure compliance with federal GEAR UP requirements and grant terms.
• Develop external funding and lead grant writing efforts.
• Build partnerships with districts, higher ed, and community partners.
• Supervise MESD-based program team and manage the program budget.
