City Electric Supply is seeking a Gear Quotation Coordinator at our Centennial, CO location to assist the Projects team with gear quotations and documentation. This entry-level role provides hands-on training and growth toward a Gear Quotation Specialist position.

You will gather technical data, assist in quotes, and learn to interpret product specifications and compliance data to ensure accurate preliminary information for quotations and sales support teams.

Qualifications

• Some experience in sales support or quoting is beneficial but not required.
• Enthusiasm for learning about gear products and quotation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize detailed submittal documentation including technical specifications and manufacturer’s data sheets.
• Help collect and verify technical and pricing information from vendors and manufacturers to aid in creating comprehensive job package quotes.
• Gain knowledge of gear products and quotations processes, providing support to senior team members and learning to handle various aspects of the quoting process.
• Work closely with Projects Department Manager to understand project requirements and contribute to the preparation and validation of quotations.
• Assist in managing customer inquiries and providing preliminary support to ensure their requirements are met effectively.

Summary

As a Gear Quotation Coordinator at CES, you will support the Projects team by assisting with various tasks related to gear quotations and documentation. This entry-level role is designed to provide hands‑on training and experience to prepare you for a future specialist position. Your responsibilities will include gathering and organizing technical data, assisting in the preparation of quotes, and learning to interpret product specifications and compliance data. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all preliminary information is accurate and complete, setting the stage for precise quotations and effective support to our sales and procurement teams.

Essential Job Functions

QualificationsEducation/Experience

• Any prior experience or coursework related to sales support or quoting is a plus.
• Some experience in sales support, inside sales, or a similar role is beneficial but not required.
• Enthusiasm for learning about gear products and quotation processes.
• Basic understanding of technical data and specifications; willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other computer applications.

• Eagerness to develop skills and advance to a Gear Quotation Specialist role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with internal team members.
