Time for Teeth is hiring a GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our Devonteam, supporting NHS dental care within secure‑estate clinics at HMP Exeter and HMP Channing's Wood. You will work closely with a friendly dental team to deliver high standards of patient care in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• GDC registration must be current.
• Fully qualified dental nurse with 2+ years' NHS experience.
• Hold dental indemnity insurance.
• Mileage for long trips over 100 miles.
• Online CPD subscription.
• Uniform provided.
• Opportunities for overtime and site coverage across UK.
• Work within secure NHS settings with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, tidy and sterile clinical areas and ensure all equipment meets required standards.
• Ensure all CQC and compliance standards are met.
• Provide chairside support to the dentist and wider clinical team.
• Set up, decontaminate and sterilise instruments.
• Maintain stock levels within clinic.
• Update and manage patient records accurately.
• Complete monthly clinic performance reports.
• Support the safety and wellbeing of all patients.
• Comply with all Health & Safety and infection‑control requirements, including PPE, COSHH and waste management.
• Complete mandatory training and CPD in line with GDC requirements.
• Manage laboratory request forms.
• Support other duties as required for the safe and efficient running of the service
