Job summary

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the dental team at NH State Prison for Men in Concord, NH. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, prepare patients, and help maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.

You will also handle sterilization, infection control, x-ray processing, and updating patient records, while contributing to a smooth daily operation and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a dental setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chair-side during exams and procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment and support dental hygiene education.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Set up and break down treatment areas and equipment.
• Take and process intra-oral x-rays as permitted.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Manage dental supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Support dental sick calls and emergency screenings.
• Ensure the clinic remains clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations.
