Job summary

Fractal is seeking an experienced GCP Solution Architect to bridge business needs and technical delivery for cloud transformation initiatives in NYC. Translate requirements into pragmatic, secure Google Cloud solutions and hand off to delivery teams.

The role focuses on GCP services, infrastructure modernization, data platforms, application migration, and DevOps enablement, with opportunities to lead cross-functional efforts and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

5–10+ years of experience in IT architecture or engineering roles with a focus on cloud computing and GCP.
Hands-on experience leading on-premises to GCP migrations, including assessment, planning, and execution.
Strong knowledge of core GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage) and security services.

Responsibilities

Translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable GCP solution designs.
Define end-to-end GCP solutions, including target architecture and migration patterns.
Serve as the technical handoff to delivery teams and mentor junior consultants on GCP best practices.
