Job summary

SNI is seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade GCP landing zones using Infrastructure as Code. You will implement IAM, networking, and governance across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities include building modular Terraform IaC, automating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance and auditability with security controls across GCP and Azure integrations.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of professional cloud/DevOps experience.
• Hands-on with GCP services including IAM, VPCs, and interconnect.
• Strong Terraform experience for multi-environment deployments.
• Proficient in building automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with hybrid or cross-cloud connectivity (Azure-GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade GCP landing zones using Infrastructure as Code.




• Configure cloud networking, VPC topologies, interconnects, VPNs, DNS, and hybrid-cloud connectivity between GCP and Azure environments.




• Implement robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) structures, least-privilege access policies, and security guardrails.




• Develop, test, and maintain modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.




• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for platform provisioning, testing, and continuous deployment.




• Implement central logging, monitoring, alerting, observability, and platform governance across all GCP environments.




• Collaborate with data engineering and security teams to ensure the underlying platform meets strict compliance and auditability requirements.

Skills:

• 6-9 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or DevOps roles.




• Deep, hands-on engineering experience across core Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Organization, Projects, VPCs, IAM, Cloud Interconnect, Security Command Center).




• Advanced proficiency in Terraform for multi-environment deployments.




• Solid background in enterprise networking, including VPC peering, Cloud Routers, Shared VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid-cloud integration.




• Practical experience establishing hybrid or cross-cloud connectivity, specifically between Azure and GCP.




• Strong background in building and automating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Cloud Build) and applying DevOps/GitOps best practices.




• In-depth understanding of cloud security architecture, least-privilege IAM, encryption management (KMS), and compliance controls.
