nOps is the leading FinOps platform for AWS, Azure, and GCP, helping engineering and finance teams gain real-time cloud cost visibility and achieve autonomous optimization. Our mission is to make cloud cost management effortless, enabling teams to scale innovation without waste. We partner closely with the major hyperscalers and our customers to continuously improve how organizations optimize, manage, and invest in their cloud environments.
As our GCP business continues to grow, we're looking for a GCP FinOps & Commitment Expert with significant hands‑on experience managing GCP commitments in large, complex environments.
We're looking for someone who has actually managed GCP commitment portfolios — making purchasing decisions, monitoring coverage and utilization, responding to changes in usage, and managing commitment risk over time. You'll bring deep operational experience with GCP commitments and work alongside our existing team to continue improving the strategy and automation behind how nOps manages commitments at scale.
You'll be one of the primary GCP commitment experts at nOps, helping us manage customer commitment portfolios and turn real‑world GCP FinOps expertise into better automation. The goal: consistently deliver the highest possible effective discount while minimizing overcommitment, unused commitments, and unnecessary long‑term lock‑in.
This is a hands‑on role. We're looking for someone who has been directly responsible for managing GCP commitments and understands what happens after a commitment is purchased — how coverage changes, where utilization breaks down, how workload movement impacts commitments, and when additional commitments should or shouldn't be added.
You'll work closely with our FinOps, product, and engineering teams. Our current team can help shape the broader strategy, while your experience managing commitments in real environments will help ensure our automation reflects how an experienced GCP FinOps practitioner would actually operate.
