Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will work with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools to deploy scalable solutions in Minneapolis, MN.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with cloud services, automation, monitoring, and security, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Container platforms Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting experience with Python and Bash or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Load Balancing.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure networking components, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, service accounts, encryption, and access controls.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and application performance using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance-related issues.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and reduce infrastructure costs.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, security, and operations teams to support application deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
