Job summary

Vivacity Tech PBC is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to design and manage cloud-first infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring reliability, security, and scalable multi-tenant environments. You will collaborate with engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize systems across shared resources.

Candidates should have 5–7 years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps, strong scripting skills, Terraform, CI/CD, and experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, and VPC

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, VPC)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform)
• Hands-on CI/CD workflow support and modern deployment practices
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring/Logging
• Google Cloud certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Administers and manages cloud infrastructure within GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and IAM
• Provisions and maintains cloud resources using IaC and automation tools
• Monitors performance, availability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments
• Implements security best practices, including identity management and access controls (SOC 2)
• Manages backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity in cloud environments
• Collaborates with engineering teams to support deployments and optimize performance
• Maintains CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes with Github Actions
• Designs and supports multi-tenant architectures and data isolation strategies
