Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Chandler, AZ is seeking a GCP DevOps Engineer to strengthen and automate its cloud platform. You will support scalable environments on Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Linux infrastructure, driving reliable deployments.

Responsibilities include automating deployment pipelines, managing CI/CD workflows, and collaborating with software, QA, and infrastructure teams to reduce manual work and improve uptime.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Strong experience with Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes administration and container management.
• Experience managing Docker Swarm environments.
• Strong background supporting Linux operating systems.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure concepts.
• Strong debugging and issue-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and scale cloud applications hosted within GCP and GKE.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters and Docker Swarm environments.
• Administer and secure Linux-based infrastructure.
• Create and enhance automated deployment pipelines.
• Provision infrastructure and manage configuration through automation.
• Develop Python-based tools for operational and infrastructure tasks.
• Integrate cloud and internal services through APIs.
• Partner with application development, testing, and operations teams.
• Investigate and resolve performance and infrastructure issues.
• Support PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch platforms.
• Improve uptime, platform resilience, and deployment consistency.
• Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and operating standards.
