Job summary

The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team helps customers move to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with best practices in secure foundation architectures and automated provisioning. You will guide customers through secure cloud implementations and collaborate with Product Management to improve Google Cloud products.

This role requires security expertise and high-visibility collaboration with CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs. US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C or C++) including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Responsibilities

• Provide domain expertise in cloud security and compliance, and be a trusted technical advisor to customers.
• Work with customers to design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet and exceed their security requirements.
• Manage disparate stakeholders within customer environments to deliver consensus and lead positive customer outcomes on GCP.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, and sample code.
• Travel up to 30% for in-region meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
