Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Cloud Engineering Manager to provide technical leadership and people management for a team designing, building, and operating scalable cloud platforms. The role blends hands-on cloud architecture with IaC, DevSecOps, and delivery leadership to align with enterprise standards.

The candidate will partner with security and enterprise architecture to drive secure, cost-efficient, highly available cloud solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years across IT disciplines incl. cloud architecture, development, operations.
• Hands-on experience with major public cloud platforms.
• Strong IaC and automated provisioning experience.
• Experience leading DevSecOps toolchains.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and access management.
• Proven ability to lead teams across boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve cloud architecture standards and reference implementations.
• Lead design/review of cloud-native solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and containers.
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
• Lead IaC adoption and governance using Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation.
• Drive DevSecOps with CI/CD, security scanning, and policy-as-code.
• Partner with security, risk, and audit teams to ensure compliant platforms.
• Mentor and develop cloud engineers; foster ownership and improvement.
• Communicate decisions and roadmaps to stakeholders.
• Align initiatives with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
