Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer with a software-development background to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work on Terraform-based IaC, IAM, DNS, and load balancers within GCP, while applying DevOps and SRE practices to ensure security, availability, and cost efficiency.

The role requires 4+ years in IT with 3+ years of development experience, including Java and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 4+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in development.
• 3+ years with Java and Python.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Familiar with DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices on GCP.
• Experience configuring IAM, Secret Manager, DNS, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of high availability and HA/DR architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud environments aligned to security requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, and product teams on cloud infra.
• Develop automation scripts and IaC templates for provisioning resources.
• Configure IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud DNS, and Load Balancer.
• Support HA/DR, cloud storage, and databases with cost efficiency.
• Monitor usage and foresee infrastructure needs; optimize spend.
• Apply DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and SRE in GCP.
• Work with Dynatrace and Splunk for observability.
• Understand Java/Python code and make small changes when needed.
