Job summary

REALIGN LLC seeks a GCP Cloud Engineer to architect and deliver cloud workloads onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, and data platforms, with strong emphasis on IaC, CI/CD, and security controls.

You will design scalable networks, implement identity and access safeguards, and drive observability and reliability across data pipelines and services.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and delivering GCP workloads
• Strong IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD with environment promotion
• Experience with IAM, Secrets, KMS and org policies
• Proficiency in networking, VPC, subnets, NAT, and load balancers
• Experience building data pipelines with BigQuery and Dataflow/Beam

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver GCP workloads using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/Spanner, Pub/Sub.
• Build infrastructure as code and CI/CD with Terraform, Cloud Build, Git with environment promotion and guardrails.
• Implement identity and security controls (IAM, service accounts, Secrets Manager, KMS, org policies, VPC Service Controls).
• Design scalable networking (VPCs, subnets, NAT, load balancers, Private Service Connect) and interconnectivity.
• Establish observability and SRE practices (Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Error Reporting; SLIs/SLOs, alerting, runbooks).
• Develop data platforms and pipelines with BigQuery, Dataflow/Beam, Composer/Airflow, Dataproc; batch and streaming.
• Automate operations with Cloud Functions/Run and APIs; drive reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Lead incident response and postmortems; mentor engineers and document standards
