Job summary

LightFeather is seeking a GCP Cloud/DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in GCP. You will automate with IaC, secure cloud environments, and streamline CI/CD across government workflows.

Applicants should have 4+ years in cloud engineering (2+ in GCP), strong Linux/networking, and experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD tools, and container tech. U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cloud engineering with at least 2 in GCP.
• Hands-on with Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, VPC, IAM, GKE, BigQuery.
• IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible or Deployment Manager.
• Familiar with CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins or Cloud Build.
• Strong Linux, networking, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable GCP infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform/Deployment Manager/Ansible.
• Support CI/CD pipeline automation and management.
• Collaborate with engineers, security, and government stakeholders.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, ensure SLAs.
• Adhere to FedRAMP/NIST security standards and document processes.
