Job summary

GTSS Inc. seeks a Lead Data AI Architect to own the architecture for a strategic Data and AI transformation program.

You will lead the end-to-end architecture on Google Cloud, shaping the target-state and modernization roadmap while collaborating with senior stakeholders across data, technology, security and risk. You will translate business objectives into scalable, secure platform designs, govern data and AI patterns, and guide delivery teams through implementation and governance throughout

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data, AI, Cloud or Enterprise Architecture and leading large-scale technology transformations.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform data and AI services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Beam, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Vertex AI).
• Strong experience with modern data platforms (lakehouse, data warehouses, data products) and streaming architectures.
• Proven experience in AI/ML architecture including Generative AI and agentic AI patterns.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector search, embeddings, knowledge architectures and AI orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Data and AI architecture for the program and define the target-state vision.
• Lead current-state assessments, identify gaps, and define modernization strategy.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure architectures and governance patterns.
• Define architecture principles, standards and reusable patterns for enterprise adoption.
• Drive decisions across data, cloud, integration, security and observability.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews and technical decision-making.
• Design and govern enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Vertex AI).
• Define data ingestion, processing, storage, transformation and consumption patterns.
• Establish BigQuery optimization and data modeling strategies; manage partitioning and workloads.
• Define enterprise integration patterns across apps, APIs and data sources.
• Establish architecture for AI/ML platforms with proper guardrails and governance.
• Mentor architects and engineers; ensure alignment with engineering standards.
• Present recommendations to executives and stakeholders and manage risks.
