Job summary

Scires is seeking an experienced software installation engineer to support GCCS-M systems on U.S. naval vessels and sites. Candidates must be active duty service members with a Top Secret clearance. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software, conducting system audits, and providing distance support. The role requires travel up to 25% and offers an excellent benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be Active Duty service member within 180 days prior to separation.
• Top Secret clearance required to start, will upgrade to TS/SCI.
• 2-5 years of experience analyzing and providing GCCS-M system engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Performing software installation of GCCS-M systems onboard U.S. naval vessels.
• Providing distance support for troubleshooting both underway and on the pier.
• Conducting system audits and pre-deployment system checkouts of GCCS-M.

Skills

Top Secret clearance

2-5 years of experience with GCCS-M

Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification CompTIA Security+

Experience with Unix OS (Solaris 11)

Microsoft Certifications

Experience with RedHat Certified Systems Administrator
