TechAxia LLC in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to support Microsoft 365 GCC High environments, maintain audit-ready posture, and serve as backup Microsoft 365 administrator for GCC High team.

The role focuses on recurring compliance tasks, remediation documentation, and security operations support, with growth opportunities through training like CCP.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizens required due to federal contract.
• 2+ years in IT security ops, sysadmin, or IT compliance.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 admin with Entra ID/Azure AD, Defender, and Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Familiar with NIST SP 800-171 and/or CMMC.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous documentation.
• Comfort with ticketing systems and following procedures.
• Self-directed, dependable with recurring workload management.

Responsibilities

• Run recurring cybersecurity maintenance checklists across environments.
• Monitor CISA/US-CERT bulletins and Defender vulnerabilities; track remediation tickets.
• Review logs across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and Intune per incident response procedures.
• Verify endpoint log ingestion and SIEM health, and reconcile Entra ID inventory against authorized hardware.
• Manage account lifecycle activities, including least-privilege reviews and stale accounts.
• Support CMMC/NIST SP 800-171 assessments and CAB meetings, and policy/risk reviews.
• Maintain compliance documentation, including SSP and POA&M inputs.
• Serve as a backup Microsoft 365 administrator for the GCC High team.
