Job summary

AdaCore, Inc. is seeking a talented GNU toolchain developer in New York. In this role, you will maintain and evolve GCC middle-end and back-end components for Ada and C/C++ compilation toolchains while providing expert customer support. The ideal candidate has strong experience with GCC development and is familiar with the GCC contribution process.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with GCC middle-end or back-end development.
• Familiarity with the GCC contribution process and upstream development.
• Experience in the Binutils domain or willingness to develop expertise.
• Knowledge of cross-compilation for embedded or RTOS environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve GCC middle-end and back-end components for Ada and C/C++ compilation toolchains.
• Provide expert customer support and troubleshooting for production toolchains.
• Port toolchains to new target architectures and develop new features.
• Improve compiler performance and implement optimization improvements.
• Collaborate with upstream GCC developers and participate in the GCC community.
