Job summary

Tachyum in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an experienced engineer to drive GCC on a new platform and manage the GNU toolchain. You will debug GCC-related issues, port GCC to new architectures, run regressions, and optimize performance for targeted applications.

The role requires strong C/C++ and GCC expertise, with a deep understanding of compilers for processors/GPUs, and a proven ability to meet milestones in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven C/C++ development and debugging experience with GCC compiler.
  • Deep understanding of compilers for processors and/or GPUs.
  • Skilled in object-oriented design and standard programming practices.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with GNU Toolchain and GCC compiler.
  • Experience using open source tools and integrating open source packages with Linux kernel.
  • LLVM experience is a big plus.
  • BS / MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and apply knowledge quickly.
  • Ability to meet project milestones and deadlines.
