Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Material Handler at our Grenada, Mississippi location to load, unload, and move materials within the plant and yard. You will help production by delivering parts to lines, moving coils, and supporting stockroom activities, using a forklift and related equipment.

This role requires basic math, the ability to work with production teams, staggered hours and overtime as needed, and a Commercial Driver License.

Qualifications

• Must have Commercial Driver License.
• The ability to use a forklift, computer and scan gun.
• Position requires staggered hours when required and any required overtime.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Movement of materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand-truck, electric dolly, fork lift, electric tugger, or other device.
• Responsibilities include picking up coils from the end of the production lines, delivery of parts as needed to production, delivery of parts to fin press, upend fin sock and help in other area as needed.
• Position requires ability to make mathematic calculations.
• Applicant must work well with Production and other Stockroom personnel.
• Applicant must be willing to learn all stockroom functions.

Position Description

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, performing any combination of following duties.
