Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a materials handler at our Grenada, MS facility to support production and logistics operations. You will move materials, assist with coil deliveries, and help maintain accurate stock in the warehouse.

Day-to-day tasks emphasize safe forklift operation, inventory accuracy, and teamwork with production staff. We offer health benefits, 401(k) matching, and opportunities for advancement in a global company.

Qualifications

• Must have a Commercial Driver License or CDL.
• Ability to operate forklift, computer, and scan gun.
• Overtime may be required and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from storage or production areas using hand-truck, forklift, or other device.
• Deliver parts to production and finish lines as needed.
• Perform stockroom duties and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with production and stockroom personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, performing any combination of following duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Movement of materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand-truck, electric dolly, fork lift, electric tugger, or other device.
• Responsibilities include picking up coils from the end of the production lines, delivery of parts as needed to production, delivery of parts to fin press, upend fin sock and help in other area as needed.
• Position requires ability to make mathematic calculations.
• Applicant must work well with Production and other Stockroom personnel.
• Applicant must be willing to learn all stockroom functions.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Must have Commercial Driver License
• The ability to use a forklift, computer and scan gun
• Position requires staggered hours when required and any required overtime.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.
