Job summary

Modine is seeking a GC Maintenance - Elect/Mech Tech for the 2nd shift in Grenada, MS. Perform preventive maintenance, repair and install various manufacturing equipment, and work under group direction to keep machinery running efficiently.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, an AAS in a related field is a plus, and knowledge of PLCs, math skills, and basic electrical understanding. Onsite position with limited travel and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• AAS in related field is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Very good mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of PLCs and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Fin Press operation a plus.
• Basic Industrial Electrical knowledge.
• Minimal travel involved, but may be required.

Position Description

Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) on all equipment according to instructions provided with work order (MTO) and directions from group leader. Repair equipment by cleaning, replacing defective parts, motors, etc. per work order. Installs, test and maintains mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools, and electrical equipment and fixtures per work order. Performs repairs on equipment such as pumps, punch presses, press brakes, fin presses, turret presses, rivet guns, etc.

Required Education & Qualifications

• AAS in related field a plus
