Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a capable operator to support coil build and related manufacturing processes. The role involves basic hands-on work with coil equipment, assisting less experienced operators, and ensuring schedule adherence while promoting safety in manufacturing procedures.

Candidate should be comfortable with reading blueprints and making precise measurements, and willing to multi-task across shift duties.

Position Description

Have strong summary of knowledge in processes, prints and procedures, which would include basic hands on proficiency in the Coil Build area, as well as any other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment. Assist less experienced operators in setting up and trouble-shooting problems. Able to execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires the ability to operate equipment, setup equipment, identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct. This position also requires the ability to make arithmetic calculations, read blue prints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices. Ability to use equipment, this would include any equipment in assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns and any other related equipment necessary to the position. Operators will be required to pull parts for next order, set up sheetmetal, install fins and lace tubes per the drawing.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blue prints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues.
• Must be able to read blue prints.
• Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• This position requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.
• Assist in personnel training as required.
