Job summary

Blueprint Hires in California is seeking a General Contracting Consultant to help expand the Western region. You will conduct building envelope assessments, manage rehabilitation projects, and serve as an expert witness in construction defect litigation cases in California.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors, travel as needed, and leverage extensive GC experience to ensure project success in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• 15+ years of general contracting experience with a GC license.
• Experience in forensic consulting preferred.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building envelope assessments and manage rehabilitation projects across California.
• Coordinate all project phases with manufacturers, developers, and subcontractors.
• Provide expert testimony in construction defect litigation matters.
• Facilitate communication among building owners, architects, contractors, and officials; travel within the region as needed.

An industry-leading construction and forensic consulting firm is seeking a General Contracting Consultant to contribute to the expansion in the Western region. You'll be instrumental in conducting building envelope assessments, managing rehabilitation projects, and providing expert testimony in construction defect litigation cases in California.

Your Day Includes

• Conducting comprehensive building envelope assessments and rehabilitation projects.
• Managing all phases of projects, including coordination with manufacturers, developers, and subcontractors.
• Serving as an expert witness in construction defect litigation cases.
• Facilitating communication and coordination among stakeholders, including building owners, architects, contractors, and building officials.
• Traveling within the state and region as required.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• 15+ years of general contracting experience with a GC license.
• Experience in forensic consulting preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
