Job summary

Rimkus is seeking a seasoned Construction Expert to join our team in Colorado. You will conduct investigations and evaluations of complex construction concerns, provide defensible opinions, and support litigation and insurance claims with detailed reporting and expert testimony.

The role requires a PE or GC license, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management, and strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license or General Contractor (GC) license.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and evaluations of construction concerns and problems, on active or completed projects.
• Perform on-site investigations, review contracts and legal documents, and meticulously report findings.
• Provide expert witness testimony in legal disputes and insurance claims.
• Develop clear, defensible opinions regarding construction defects.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams and stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of building codes and relevant regulations; communicate findings effectively.
• Manage multiple investigations with strong project management.
• Support business growth through diligent reporting and testimony.
