Job summary

New York Life offers a dynamic internship experience within the Group Benefit Solutions team, focusing on modernizing and streamlining correspondence across Absence, STD, LTD, Life, and Voluntary Benefits. You’ll develop client-facing samples, organize letter examples, and support templates and reference materials.

You’ll work with subject matter experts, gain hands-on experience in business communications, and contribute to improving readability and consistency while building a professional

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, English, Technical Writing, or related field.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to make complex information clear, concise, and easy to understand.

Responsibilities

• Create client-facing correspondence samples and organize letter examples.
• Support standard work and documentation for consistency across Absence, STD, LTD, Life, and Voluntary Benefits.
• Collaborate with SMEs across GBS to standardize practices and templates.
