Job summary

Florida Gators University Athletic Association seeks a Senior Director to lead the Gators VIP Experience, overseeing hospitality, gifting, procurement and experience strategy for donors, partners, and premium clients across all athletics programs.

This role requires strong leadership, team-building, and the ability to scale operations, engage diverse stakeholders, and travel for premier events and away games as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate area of specialization.
• Six years of experience in event management, premium experience, donor relations, or partnership management.
• Experience managing procurement, hospitality, or large-scale client programs and associated budgets.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eight or more years of experience in event management, premium experience, donor relations, or partnership management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Vertical Leadership: Builds and leads the Gators VIP Experiences vertical, establishing standards, processes, and long‑term strategy.
• Account Management Cooperation: Works alongside account management of various verticals to ensure delivery of elite-level experiences for partners, donors, and premium clients.
• Streamline Processes: Integrates disparate processes into a unified experience strategy.
• Platform Generation: Collaborates to develop sellable platforms to generate revenue.
• Hospitality & Gifting: Oversees hospitality programming and gifting strategies across Athletics.
• Procurement Management: Manages procurement workflows for consistency and cost efficiency.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partners with Partnerships, Premium Seating, and Development leadership.
• Resource Planning: Develops staffing plans including hiring of managers and coordinators.
• Experience Strategy: Creates a unified strategy to boost retention, satisfaction, and revenue.
• Performance Measurement: Tracks KPIs, revenue, and client satisfaction.
• Venue Relations: Builds relationships with venues to activate stakeholder experiences.
