Job summary

Milwaukee Tool, Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a Gatekeeper to ensure all process steps are followed and orders pass through the system correctly. You will verify orders, assist in material handling, and uphold 5S and safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, solid organizational skills, basic math and computer skills, and about a year of distribution center experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic math and basic computer skills.
• High attention to detail.
• One year distribution center or quality experience.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend order information and work instructions.
• Knowledge of all systems in the distribution center.
• Verifies that incoming and outgoing orders are correct.
• Verifies that pallets and boxes match High Jump reports.
• Ability to research and fix errors with orders/boxes.
• Identifies and corrects problem scans.
• Identifies and isolates errors and communicates resolution.
• Assist in other areas of the cell as needed, such as material handling, stocking, and packing.
• Practice 5S and Safety.
• Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.
