Responsibilities
- Managing vehicle movement, access control, and visitor passes.
- Checking emails, administration, and required reporting.
- Confirming that all individuals issued with a security access card have completed relevant inductions and have the appropriate access level.
- Identifying and reporting security risks to the client contact and client services manager.
- Conducting internal and external foot patrols.
- Issuing permanent and temporary staff security access cards, contractor, and visitor passes.
- Monitoring WHS, CCTV surveillance, and responding to site alarms.
- Providing daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms, and checks.
- Ensuring perimeter security by preventing unauthorized access and addressing vulnerabilities to physical and electronic security.
- Responding to alarms from access systems, fire systems, building management, CCTV, and staff or contractor issues.
- Surveillance and monitoring of entry gates, screening areas, buildings, and grounds via CCTV and access control systems.
- Traffic control at pedestrian and vehicle gates, intercoms, and parking areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing client relationships in similar environments.
- Security Licence as per state/territory regulations and a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license if driving is a requirement.
- Applicants must be available 24/7.
- Position based at Gatehouse in Altona North.

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and self-supervise.
