Job description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing vehicle movement, access control, and visitor passes.
2. Checking emails, administration, and required reporting.
3. Confirming everyone issued with a security access card has completed relevant induction and provided appropriate access level.
4. Identifying and reporting security risks to the client contact and client services manager.
5. Conducting internal and external foot patrols.
6. Issuing permanent and temporary staff security access cards, contractor and visitor passes.
7. Monitoring WHS, CCTV surveillance, and responding to site alarms.
8. Providing daily communications diary, event logs, incident reports, breaches, foot patrol reports, readings, alarms, and checks.
9. Providing perimeter security to prevent unauthorized access and vulnerabilities.
10. Responding to alarms from access systems, fire systems, building management, CCTV, and staff reports.
11. Surveillance and monitoring of entry gates, screening areas, site buildings, and grounds via CCTV and access control.
12. Traffic control at pedestrian and vehicle gates, intercoms, and parking areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing client relationships in a similar environment.
• Security Licence of the applicable State or Territory and a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Current Drivers Licence if driving is required.
• Availability 24/7.
• Location: Gatehouse in Altona North.
• Previous applicants need not apply.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and self-supervise.
