Job summary

Norwill Inc. seeks a Gated Entry Installation & Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated gate systems across gated communities and commercial properties.

The role involves heavy equipment operation, wiring, and field service work to ensure reliable access control and safety. Responsibilities include configuring systems, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with property managers to tailor gate access.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical repair, preferably with automated gate or access control systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, circuitry, and safety standards.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test automated gate systems including motors, sensors, and control panels according to manufacturer specifications and site requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify and address potential mechanical or electrical issues before they impact gate operation.
• Diagnose and repair faults in gate operators, access control devices, and related electrical components promptly to minimize service interruptions.
• Collaborate with property management and security teams to customize gate access settings and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
• Maintain accurate service records, document repairs and installations, and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations.
