Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking gate Security Officers for a home improvement store setting. The role emphasizes independent work, attention to detail, and basic tech skills including tablet use.

Shifts include weekday and weekend coverage with hourly compensation of $18.50 (Mon-Fri) and $19.50 (Sat-Sun). Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, a State Security Officer License, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and State Security Officer License.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Experience as a security officer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend gate and provide access control for customers entering/exiting the back lot.
• Check accuracy of orders picked up by customers.
• Thoroughly examine vehicles entering the premises and note items inside.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions.
• Walk the yard twice per shift and report suspicious activity.
• address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
