Job summary

Security USA, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our on-site team in Nassau/Suffolk counties, NY. You will cover Fri–Sun 4pm–12am, performing front-desk duties for residents and guests, monitoring CCTV, controlling access, and reporting incidents to property management.

A professional demeanor and reliable transportation are essential. Responsibilities include patrolling common areas, securing the premises, and assisting with emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Security Guard license.
• Must own a vehicle.
• Resident of Nassau or Suffolk County.
• Gatehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet tenants and visitors as they arrive and depart.
• Monitor CCTV and surrounding areas for security risks.
• Enforce access control for guests and vendors.
• Prepare incident and other reports for building management.
• Secure premises and respond to security incidents as needed.
• Patrol community common areas and report irregularities.

As a leading security officer, you will provide security and customer services for the community and share the following responsibilities

• Greeting incoming and outgoing tenants
• Monitoring CCTV of the building and its surroundings
• Ensuring proper access control guidelines are followed by guests and vendors
• Providing incident reports and other reports to building management and Security USA
• Securing the premises and providing security assistance when necessary
• Patrolling community shared areas in the building
• Valid Security guard license
• Have own vehicle
• Must live Nassau/Suffolk county
• Gatehouse experience preferred
