Job summary

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and identify, recommend, and implement safety improvements.
• Provide feedback to Routers regarding equipment constraints, delivery windows, and items to be redelivered.
• Generate reports relevant to departure, delivery, equipment usage and mileage variances. Post results to Mohawk Intranet sites.
• Maintain, monitor, and update the driver, vendor, and contractor database to ensure accurate and current records.
• Monitor and administer the C-CURE access control system to manage facility gate access, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted entry.
• Conduct boiler and air compressor inspections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during emergency situations, coordinating communication and directing emergency response personnel.
• Oversee employee and visitor access at the facility turnstile, including issuing credentials, verifying authorization levels, troubleshooting access issues, and maintaining access records.
• Conduct routine nighttime patrols of the exterior to monitor security and safety.
• Monitor fire alarm system and weather alerts.
• Keep track of INS contractors.
• Execute contractor safety orientation and compliance training for site procedures and requirements.
• Attend job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

What Else?

• This position requires the team member to work with machinery in an environment where there may be fluctuating temperatures, and additional department‑specific variables. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required, and may include hearing protection, safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, and eye protection.
• Other working conditions may include working 12-hour shifts and a fixed shift rotation, including holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.; bending, squatting, climbing ladders and stairs are required.
